Over 770 million live in Europe – from the Atlantic to the Urals and from the
North Cape to the Mediterranean.
Between them, they consume 190 billion cups of hot beverage – coffee, tea and
chocolate - out of home each year. That's equivalent to over 6,000 cups every
second of every day.

According to horizons, Europe has 2.9 million foodservice outlets – from prisons
to upmarket hotels – and this figure includes over one million full-service and
quick-service restaurants. The industry serves about 65 billion meals each year
and spends €85 billion on food and hot beverages.
