FDF's OHG was set up in June 2002 with the following objectives:

to be a high profile professional organisation of FDF company subscribing
members whose objective is to review, consider, make recommendations and
representations on issues of interest and concern to members operating in the UK “Out of
Home” sector |

 |
to represent the interests of FDF company subscribing members operating in the
"Out of Home" sector on appropriate external committees and bodies concerned
with "Out of Home", food service and hospitality matters in discussion with
various organisations, government departments and similar, on selected key issues,
with a view to influencing their outcome and the industry as a whole |

 |
 |
to advise the FDF Council on all issues referred to it by Council or which the
group considers should be brought to the Council's attention concerning
developments in the “Out of Home” sector |

 |
to take action on behalf of FDF members on the key issues selected and to bring
matters to a desired conclusion; to be a force for change. |
